South Lanarkshire College students show off their skills at prestigious event

iOS - Android HIT Scotland’s annual lunch was designed to raise funds for the trust and allow students the opportunity to hone their skills in one of Scotland’s top hotels.The event, which was held earlier this month, was hosted by journalist and radio presenter, Tam Cowan.At the lunch, students made and served the guests a chocolate dome with orange curd and chocolate mousse dessert.There was also a Glasgow traffic cone made from chocolate.The famous cone that resides on the head of the statue of the Duke of Wellington was the main theme of the event and traffic cones could be seen throughout the lunch.Pastry chef lecturer, Helen Vass said: “I’m thrilled that our students had the chance to take part in this year’s HIT Scotland lunch.“It.
