Fans will have to wait a little bit longer for Premier League football to return as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic continues to affect sport across the world.

The virus has put all professional football in England on hold, with the FA and league chiefs announcing that fixtures will not resume until April 30 at the earliest following a conference call on Thursday.

In addition to forcing UEFA to delay Euro 2020 until next summer, the suspension had also raised questions over whether the current season will be able to finish.
