Sir David Attenborough has reportedly become the latest star to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. The 94-year-old natural historian and British icon is believed to have received his first inoculation just days after Queen Elizabeth received the vaccine.

The Planet Earth documentarian is said to have received the Oxford vaccine, and joins a growing list of prominent stars that have received the first of two doses that will lead to immunisation against coronavirus.

An insider speaking to The Sun has confirmed that David received the vaccine and is promoting the life-saving injections. "Sir David was always keen to get vaccinated, and support both the current programme and the NHS," the source revealed.
