Britain's Got Talent and X Factor star has reportedly made a steep loss on the property after he parted ways with his lavish home for $14.5million (£11million).
According to reports, Simon had actually purchased the sought after six-bedroom property for $15.5million (£12million) in May 2011.The lavish mansion was originally built in 1966 and the 7,300 square feet location also boasts 0.65 acres of land, six bathrooms and a gorgeous swimming pool.Since he bought the house, Simon has remodelled the property at least three times meaning that he's made large investments into the building.
According to Variety, the property also previously boasted an outdoor fireplace, a screening room and a BBQ area. The property also offered breathtaking views.
