revenge porn is at record levels in Scotland. Shock figures obtained by the Sunday Mail show there were 780 cases reported to police during lockdown – the most since new legislation was introduced by the Scottish Government in 2017.

The Abusive Behaviour and Sexual Harm (Scotland) Act now prohibits distributing or threatening to distribute intimate pictures of another person with the intention of humiliating or blackmailing them.
