Seven places see coronavirus infection rates pass 200 as doctors warn of 'ICUs filling'

Liverpool doctors have sounded the alarm on soaring coronavirus cases as they warn intensive care units are "filling up" again.

It comes as Knowsley's rapidly rising infection rates sees it move into the top three worst areas in the country. New public health figures today show seven areas in the north of England are now recording rates of more than 200 cases per 100,000 people.
