'Selfish' day-trippers who travelled hundreds of miles from Tier 4 areas for New Year's Day walks have been slammed by police.
Visitors from as far afield as Kent, Southampton and Solihull were caught breaching coronvirus lockdown rules in Snowdonia, North Wales today.
Earlier this week North Wales Police warned people to stay away from popular tourist spots, Cheshire Live reports. Visitors ignored the pleas and flocked to the mountainous region.
