Section of Didsbury Tesco’s car park could become apartment complex

A section of the car park at the Parrs Wood Tesco could be turned into a housing development. Christened ‘Blackbird Yard’, the project looks to make use of an underused corner of the Didsbury superstore by proposing 95 new homes in a seven storey block.

This will include approximately 23 affordable homes. The plans are only in the first stage of consultation, with a public consultation running until December 9 2021 and a public drop-in meeting on December 1 at the Didsbury Cricket Club
