Searches for Mastercard 'explode' after rival Visa dropped by Amazon

Online search for Mastercard have increased by 1,300 per cent, according to new research after Amazon dropped rivals Visa. The new finding by Casinosites.org reveals that online interest in ‘Mastercard’ exploded to 16 times the average volume in one day, an unprecedented boom in interest Mastercard, according to Google search data analysis.

The data also revealed that searches for ‘cancel Visa’ skyrocketed to over 700% on the 17 th November – 9 times the average volume in one day.

The spike comes after online retail giant Amazon announced it would not longer be accepting Visa credit cards as a form of payment.
