breast cancer on Christmas Eve has vowed to make sure others affected by the disease are given the vital support they need.Samantha Millar, 29, was told she had the disease at the end of last year and would need to undergo chemotherapy and a double mastectomy.The charity volunteer and mum of an 11-year-old daughter was just 28 when she was given the news – it is uncommon for anyone under the age of 30 to be diagnosed with breast cancer.But Samantha, who joined the dedicated team at East Kilbride-based Share Alike several months ago and was vital in helping others through the pandemic, has vowed to fight on.The former hairdresser is supporting others – in phone calls and virtually at the moment – through Sammi’s Under-30 Cancer.
