Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with 14 alleged bogus crime incidents and stolen car pursuits. The 33-year-old was nicked after a major operation by Police Scotland officers in the Greater Glasgow and Lanarkshire areas.
The man is accused of carrying out frauds, thefts and making abusive telephone communications. He is also facing court proceedings for alleged road traffic offences including police pursuits and allegedly stealing motor vehicles.A reporter has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Recently, a 33 year old male was arrested & charged with 14 alleged offences relating to bogus crime. “These include alleged frauds, thefts, abusive telephone communications and road traffic.
