Firefighters raced to the scene and managed to tackle the blaze before flames reached other parked cars sitting just yards away.
The huge cloud of smoke could be seen for miles and a picture from the scene shows the front of the vehicle completely engulfed in flames.A local source said: "There was a huge fire down from the dog park with fire engines and everything."We drove past coming back from the shops, took the dogs out and you could see the glow from the top of Ingleby Drive."Police Scotland told the Record the blaze is not being treated as.
