dailyrecord.co.ukScotland side looks set to be brought out of coronavirus cold storage on Wednesday and thrown into a hectic schedule of eight games over 11 weeks.And the new look fixture list - which is expected to be unveiled by UEFA - includes a golden shot at qualifying for next summer’s European Championships through the play-offs.Fears had been growing on Hampden’s sixth floor that the international calender might have to be ripped up to allow clubs sides across the continent to get domestic leagues and European competitions up and running again following the coronavirus lockdown.
But understands a new schedule has been drawn up which is likely to see Clarke’s team get back to action as originally planned in September with a Nations League double.
