A crowd of panic stricken parents gathered at the gates of a secondary school in Wigan after a person had made threats to the school online.
Police were called to Golborne High School at around 10.42am today (November 22) following reports of an 'individual making threats and claiming they had a 'firearm'.
The school was placed under lockdown as a precaution while officers were at the scene to carry out investigations.
