A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

9 (5.33 in 18-49). In total viewers, this is television’s #1 most-watched entertainment program since the season premiere of NBC’s America’s Got Talent on May 26 (9.877 million).
