And actress Sarah Greene has been inundated with positive messages from fans. She revealed that she was delighted to get the opportunity to play the character as Lorraine was her favourite in Sally Rooney’s best-selling novel.
Speaking to Mairead Ronan on TodayFM, she admitted: ‘Normal People makes me very proud to be Irish to see that wealth of Irish talent.
It’s very exciting.’ And she couldn’t help but praise her young co-stars Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones. ‘I hope they win every award going, they are incredibly talented and lovely people,’ she gushed.
