Joe Otterson TV ReporterSamuel L. Jackson is set to star in the limited series “The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey” at Apple.The six-episode series is based on the novel of the same name by Walter Mosley, who will adapt the book for the screen.

Though it was already reported back in September, the recent Disney investors call revealed that Marvel Studios is, in fact, working on a Nick Fury-led TV series that will eventually land on Disney+. There’s one catch though, it’s not titled “Nick Fury” and it’s more than just about him.

The Marvel universe is expanding rapidly on Disney+ with the streamer set to launch television series Ironheart, Moon Knight, Armor Wars and Secret Invasion.
