The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has led to the Premier League season being postponed until at least April 30, with Liverpool 25-points clear at the top of the table.
The governing bodies are adamant that all of the remaining fixtures need to be played out in full, but Sam Allardyce cannot see that happening.
He reckons that the campaign could be ruled as null and void if the delay goes on further into the year, with attentions turning to the 2020/21 season.
That would mean that Jurgen Klopp’s Reds might miss out on a historic title despite their domination, which Big Sam admits would be very sad for their supporters.
