Jurgen Klopp admitted he "asked a lot" of Neco Williams as he explained why he hauled the youngster off at half-time during Liverpool's win over Brighton.
Promising teenager Williams was asked to fill in at left-back on his first Premier League start, with Andy Robertson initially rested for the Reds' 3-1 victory at the Amex on Wednesday night.
But the 19-year-old - normally a right-back - did not come out for the second half after picking up a booking for a challenge on Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey.
