The retailer has said it's making a drastic change to the way people shop in supermarkets. Sainsbury's is overhauling its loyalty scheme in a move that could freeze out its existing Nectar card and get customers up to 30% off their spend.
Currently the supermarket lets shoppers collect points on a Nectar loyalty card every time they shop, which can be swapped for discounts at Sainsbury's and other retailers like Argos.
But now Sainsbury's says the next step in its loyalty scheme will be 'My Nectar Prices' - discounts using the Nectar smartphone app. READ MORE: Millions
