Rylan Clark has jokingly moaned about his relaxing day being gatecrashed by his mum Linda - much to his fans' amusement. The BBC Radio 2 star finished his Saturday afternoon slot on the channel ahead of a four-week break to film "something special".

And it appears Rylan, 35, wanted to spend his day off on Sunday (January 28) making the most of some quiet time in his plush Essex abode.

Or that was until his beloved mother Linda rocked up. Taking to Instagram, Rylan shared a video he had filmed of Linda in her swimming gear as she dipped herself into his gorgeous indoor pool. "All I wanted was a peaceful Sunday..." he typed on his Instagram Story as Linda started to acclimatise to the water while also checking there were no snakes about after her son's home was visited by the reptile on two separate occasions.
