Ryan Giggs called his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville an 'evil horrible c***' and threatened to send photographs of her to her friends and co-workers unless she did what he said, Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester has heard.The former Manchester United star has been accused of controlling and coercive behaviour against Ms Greville between August 2017 and November 2020, accusations he strenuously denies.Giggs, 48, was also charged with assaulting the 36-year-old and causing her actual bodily harm at his home in November 2020, as well as and common assault against her younger sister, Emma, in the same alleged incident, which again, he denies.Prosecutor Peter Wright QC told the court on Monday that Ms Greville received numerous vitriolic and threatening texts from Mr Giggs, including messages like: 'Only an evil horrible c*** does that' …. 'I'm so f****** mad right now I'm scaring myself because I could do anything'.He claimed Giggs would "harass" his partner on social media when she was out with her friends and would threaten her unless she responded to his messages.Wright told the court: "He would threaten to send images of her to friends and work colleagues unless she did what he said.
