Although Lukaku scored a respectable 42 goals in 96 appearances at Old Trafford after his £75m switch from Everton four years ago, the Belgian struggled to produce his most prolific form consistently, which ultimately proved to be his undoing at United.
Since leaving United, though, Lukaku has emphatically bounced back and he's been a great success at Inter Milan, helping fire the Italian club to Serie A glory last season, which clearly caught the eye of his former club Chelsea in the transfer market.
