It’s not every day you get a new, old Rolling Stones track. Today is that day. The Stones unearthed “Scarlet,” featuring Led Zeppelin guitar hero Jimmy Page and late bass great Rick Grech (Traffic, Blind Faith, Family) and recorded way back in October 1974.

4 via Universal Music Group. “I remember first jamming this with Jimmy and Keith in Ronnie’s basement studio,” recounts Mick Jagger in a statement. “It was a great session.” It’s a free-spirited blues-rock number with layered guitars and hooks galore.
