delivery driver who robbed more than £31,000 worth of items and tried to sell them on eBay has avoided prison. Michael Biernacki swindled 244 packages in just three months from Royal Mail but was rumbled after a customer complained they had not received their item.

Most of the goods which the Parcelforce employee stole were high value electrical, cosmetic and designer clothing products. After the customers started complaining police found the items had turned up on Biernacki’s eBay account, and subsequently raided his home.The 37-year-old pleaded guilty to two charges of theft and one of converting criminal property after police found hundreds of products matching those which were reported missing by disgruntled customers.At Birmingham.
