In shocking CCTV footage, recorded at a Budget Host Inn in Fort Worth, Texas, US, the suspect walks into the hotel and approaches the front desk.
Police said he then threatened to burn the receptionist alive if he didn't give him what he wanted, in the horrifying arson attack on Sunday night.
The man then squirts a liquid through a small hole in the protective glass that shields the hotel receptionist with some splashing on him and the desk.
