Rivaldo has told Willian to leave Chelsea for Tottenham this summer, despite interest from his former side Barcelona. The Brazil international will become a free agent at the end of June when his contract expires.
The two parties have been unable to come to an agreement over a renegotiation with Willian desperate for a three-year deal. However, the forward turns 32 this summer and Chelsea are reluctant to give such a long contract to someone in his latter years of his career.
The impasse means that Willian is likely heading for the exit doot at Stamford Bridge. But he is not without suitors with the former Shakhtar star being eyed by the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal, Barcelona and Juventus.
