Rio Ferdinand has explained why he has never watched Manchester United’s 2008 Champions League final win since the game 12 years ago.
The former defender was part of Sir Alex Ferguson’s side that beat Chelsea 6-5 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. And the famous trophy was lifted by Ferdinand, who donned the captain’s armband for the game in Moscow.
But the Englishman has made a surprising admission about how he reflects on the Champions League win.
