The former Sky Sports host alleges a source near the dugout told him the Uruguayan was "puzzled and furious" at being taken off for Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford on Saturday.
He states Cavani, who surrendered the number seven shirt for Ronaldo upon the Portuguese icon's arrival in the summer, initially stormed past Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before quickly changing his mind and shaking hands with the manager.
