Richard Hall Jr. was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served with the Tuskegee Airmen in World War II.Hall served his country during World War II as a member of the Tuskegee Airmen in the 332nd Fighter Group.
The Tuskegee Airmen were renowned Black pilots and support staff in the U.S. Army Air Forces, and Hall worked as a mechanic at Ramitelli Airfield in Italy.
After World War II, Hall pursued a career in the Air Force, the branch that grew from the Army’s Air Forces. He served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War before retiring in 1973 as a Chief Master Sergeant.
