Necker Cup trophy. Held every November on Sir Richard Branson’s private island, the pro-am tournament pits super-wealthy venture capitalists, tech entrepreneurs and business leaders against some of the biggest names in tennis.
This April the businessman famously offered to mortgage the island to raise money to help his Virgin Group empire. But Necker's primary purpose is as Branson's playground.
He has owned the 74-acre resort for 14 years and charity sporting events are a regular fixture - there are two astroturf tennis courts and a resident tennis pro.
Novak Djokovic has turned up to play the Necker Cup in previous years, as have Rafael Nadal, Kim Clisjsters and Marion Bartoli.
