Resident left unable to sleep after anti-social behaviour incidents near Perth school

Perth and Kinross Council says it is working to avoid repeats of anti-social behaviour in an area near a Perth school. It has been claimed youngsters have been vandalising walls, destroying trees and even urinating in the street close to Moncrieffe Primary.The primary school itself also suffered vandalism during recent school holidays.The issue has been reported to the council’s community warden team and the local authority has said the COVID-19 lockdowns have had a “significant” impact on children.

One local, who was in tears as she told the Perthshire Advertiser about her experiences, claimed there had been issues on streets such as Gleneagles Road, Glengarry Road, Glenartney Terrace and Glenogle Crescent.
