Ahead of the highly anticipated release of “Wonder Woman: 1984,” director Patty Jenkins is throwing some shade at Joss Whedon and Zack Snyder’s “Justice League.”  The 2018 superhero team-up movie featured characters Batman, The Flash, Superman, Aquaman, Cyborg and, of course, Wonder Woman. However, it faced a poor critical reception, was maligned by fans, and was marred by a shift in directors for post-production.

It doesn’t take a deep knowledge of DC Comics lore to recognize that there are some, uh, inconsistencies between 2017’s “Justice League” film and the other DCEU features that spawned from it. Clearly, that’s the result of Zack Snyder leaving the production and Joss Whedon taking over and turning the superhero film into…something else.
