With “Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver” hitting Netflix tomorrow, Zack Snyder is making the press rounds to promote his latest film. But the most intriguing stuff he talked about on the Happy Sad Confused podcast didn’t have anything to do with “Rebel Moon” at all.

In a film about feminism and overall female empowerment, such as “Barbie,” it can’t feel good to have one joke aimed directly at you, seemingly used to sum up the current male-driven toxic fandom in film. Alas, that’s exactly what happened to Zack Snyder, who is mentioned in “Barbie” as a joke about Writer Barbie waking up from her misogynistic state.

Even before the whole Snyder Cut situation, there were plenty of reports floating around that behind-the-scenes drama surrounded the Warner Bros. film, “Justice League,” while it was in production.

As James Gunn and Peter Safran‘s new take on the DCEU moves forward, fans can’t help but wonder who will star and help helm the future films of “Gods and Monsters.”  Ben Affleck makes it clear in a new THR interview that he won’t return to direct any new movies for DC Studios.

Ben Affleck has had some major career accomplishments since breaking onto the scene in 1998 with a Best Original Screenplay Oscar for. It’s not controversial to say that DC films, before James Gunn and Peter Safran took over, were an absolute mess. Not only were many of the films underperforming at the box office and getting savaged by critics, but there was also a complete lack of continuity, with characters appearing on CW shows as well as massive $200 million films.

Just because “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” (aka The Snyder Cut) was released last year on HBO Max, that doesn’t mean the news surrounding the film is going away. Now, more than a year removed from its release, it appears the entire #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement is starting to get examined.

There's just something delectable for film lovers when it comes to consuming superhero movies, no matter how overrated, been there done that the genre might seem in today's world. As of now, at the top of the mountain, we have two beloved, reigning comic book franchises that are ruling even in Hollywood; Marvel and DC aka MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and DCEU (DC Extended Universe).When it comes to the MCU, currently in its Phase 4, the more than a decade long journey has been a behemoth success at the box-office with Avengers: Endgame toppling (and eventually placing second after a while) Avatar as the highest-grossing film with a gigantic total global box-office collection of USD 2.797 billion.
