Wolves forward Raul Jimenez has told Manchester United there is no release clause in his current deal amid reports regarding his future.
The Mexican forward has 22 goals in 44 appearances this season leading to reports linking him with both Real Madrid and United when the transfer market reopens.
Interest is expected to be high in Jimenez ahead of the summer transfer window and now the 28-year-old has told prospective buyers that it would take a substantial fee to lure him away. “They (Wolves) bought me for €40million (£34.5m), they won’t sell me for less,” he told Marca. “There is no release clause, but the clubs [in England], it is different how they are managed.” Jimenez had the opportunity to move to China prior to sealing his Wolves
