Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has heaped praise on Raul Jimenez, claiming the Wolves star “has everything a world-class striker needs”.
Jimenez has been regularly linked with a move to Manchester United after lighting up the Premier League with Wolves, though Gundogan’s recent outburst may suggest that local rivals City are also in for the Mexico star.
The 28-year-old has scored 22 goals and provided 10 assists this campaign, building on his impressive 2018-19 loan season from Benfica.
The Molineux club made the signing permanent for £30m last summer and Jimenez is contracted until 2023 - but Wolves may have to fend off interest from both Manchester clubs this summer.
