Rangers have said a video allegedly showing players using sectarian language has an “adjoining narrative”. The Scottish Premiership champions came under fire as a Tiktok video emerged of the squad singing Neil Diamond’s hit song “Sweet Caroline” following their 4-0 win over Aberdeen which confirmed an Invincible campaign.
But one line of the song was apparently heard as “f*** the Pope”, with Police carrying out an investigation.And the Ibrox side have now responded to the emergence of the video, slamming the addition of the language which has sparked a furious reaction.
