Trent Alexander-Arnold is set for a month on the sidelines after suffering a calf injury. The defender pulled up in the second-half of Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City on Sunday.
He appeared to go down off the ball without making any impact with anyone else on the pitch, with Jurgen Klopp immediately withdrawing him.
The youngster was able to hobble off the pitch unaided, but it was confirmed on Monday that he had indeed suffered an injury to his calf muscle.
Alexander-Arnold is now set for a month in the treatment room before returning, with Klopp reluctant to rush him back despite the packed fixture schedule.
