The Queen is said to be "bearing up well" as she prepares for a poignant last goodbye to her late husband Prince Philip. As she continued to oversee the final preparations for the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral, the 94-year-old monarch was reportedly due to pick an outfit with her confidante and dresser Angela Kelly and get a haircut on Friday.
Due to England's Covid lockdown, the Queen is planning a scaled-back send-off for the duke, who died aged 99 on April 9. Accompanied by a lady-in-waiting, she will pause for a moment to look at Philip's coffin at the start of an eight-minute procession before Saturday's funeral at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
