reported last week how the Crumpsall school has invested heavily in the safety measures. Mask-wearing is compulsory for everyone, even throughout the lessons, and the school has installed thermal cameras, which allow them to scan 30 children a second for signs of a temperature.In a letter to parents on Thursday morning, the school said: "We understand there are various rumours and concerns circulating and would just like to update you on the current situation at school."School reopened on Friday 28th August for Sixth Form students.

One Sixth Former [student X] was in school on Friday and on Friday evening started to feel unwell and had a temperature. On Sunday 30th August, he tested positive for COVID.
