Pupils and teachers are suffering “huge stress” due to the Government’s failure to set out a clear plan for summer exams, Labour has warned.
Shadow Education Secretary Kate Green demanded further clarity on next year’s GCSE and A-levels as new analysis found more than 8.7 million young people faced being plunged into the tougher tier two and three restrictions this week.
Labour said students should be offered more choice of questions and reserve papers in every subject if they miss out on teaching due to the pandemic.
