Pubs could reopen on July 4 but they'll have no beer unless Boris says so soon

pubs reopen. It’s been rumoured that Britain’s pubs will be re-opening on or around July 4, but other sources say it could be as late as August 3.As yet the government has yet to confirm either date and , the British Beer & Pub Association are getting worried.Here's the bad news.

To ensure that ample fresh stocks are brewed and available, brewers and landlords will need at least a month’s notice.Real ales take around three weeks to produce and draught lager a little longer.

Time, too has to be allowed for shipping of empty kegs back to brewers, and re-stocking.Emma McClarkin, chief executive of the British Beer & Pub Association, said: “We must get Britain brewing again to ensure our pubs re-open serving the fresh draught beer we love so.
