East Kilbride area open their doors and welcome customers inside once again.Phase 3 allowed for the reopening of indoor venues including public houses, as well as restaurants.Previously only businesses with beer gardens or outdoor seating areas could operate.The Village Inn opened its doors for the first time in nearly four months welcoming customers old and new.Landlord Paul Jardine told the East Kilbride News: “It was great to see customers back again and that they felt safe with the measures we have in place.“We are following all the government guidelines but that means we have taken a hit financially as the number of customers has to be significantly lower.“But it’s a start and it would be gutting after all the hard work and preparation.
