PSG supremo Nasser Al-Khelaifi would reportedly be keen for his stars to take a temporary pay cut. Coronavirus chaos has swept across Europe and it’s not yet clear when domestic leagues will resume across the continent.

The Ligue 1 giants are a huge draw for fans in France. However, PSG are now struggling due to a loss of television revenue with the season on hold.

Barcelona have already looked to lower their cost base by asking players to take a reduced salary. And PSG - who are back by wealthy Qatari businessmen - want their first-team to follow suit.

French magazine L'Equipe say Al-Khelaifi made the revelation during a conversation between top tier and Ligue 2 clubs. PSG dished out £342.6m in employee salaries from a total £588.3m
