The loss to Fulham was their sixth consecutive home defeat and based on current form, Liverpool are set to miss out on the top four.
A projected table from Sky Sports, which is based on each team maintaining their form for the remainder of the season, has Liverpool finishing ninth.
The table takes into account the current ratios for points per game, goals scored and conceded and has Liverpool finishing 30 points behind Manchester City.
