Liverpool made a welcome return to form, beating RB Leipzig 2-0 to book their place in the Champions League quarter finals. Going into the second-leg with a 2-0 advantage, Jurgen Klopp's side were heavy favourites to progress against the Bundesliga title challengers.They may have anticipated a more stern test however, with the Reds dominating from start to finish in an impressive display.The game should have been out of hand by half-time, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota all turning down the chance to extend their lead in the tie.
Leipzig then hit the bar after the break through Alexander Sorloth, but just minutes later, Salah's strike all but ended their resistance.
