Producers Guild Sets Documentary Feature Nominees Including ‘Summer Of Soul’, ‘Flee’, ‘The First Wave’

Naman Ramachandran British auteur Peter Strickland is back with his fifth feature, “Flux Gourmet,” and it is as striking and uncompromising as his previous body of work, which includes “In Fabric” (2018), “The Duke of Burgundy” (2014), “Berberian Sound Studio” (2012) and “Katalin Varga” (2009). “Flux Gourmet” world premieres at the Berlin Film Festival’s Encounters strand on Feb. 11.The film follows a sonic collective trio with rocky interpersonal dynamics, who take up residency at an institute devoted to culinary and alimentary performance and have to answer to the institute’s head, who has her own opinions about their work.

Jack White has shared the title track from his forthcoming album ‘Fear Of The Dawn’, one of two records he’ll release this year, alongside ‘Entering Heaven Alive’.Following on from the similarly blistering ‘Taking Me Back’, White’s latest track is a freewheeling, fuzzed-out rocker that clocks in at just over two minutes, with the former White Stripes frontman howling over heavily distorted guitars.Listen to ‘Fear Of The Dawn’ below:White announced both ‘Fear Of The Dawn’ and ‘Entering Heaven Alive’ back in November of last year. The former – White’s first solo album since 2018’s ‘Boarding House Reach’ – is set to arrive first on April 8, with its follow-up set for release on July 22.

Orville Peck has shared the first four tracks from his forthcoming second album, ‘Bronco’, releasing an EP dubbed ‘Chapter 1’ today (February 11).Leading the pack is a smoky, retro-tinged love song titled ‘C’mon Baby, Cry’, which serves as the lead single from ‘Bronco’, and comes alongside a video directed by Austin Peters.
