Premier League clubs are reportedly set to campaign for supporters to be allowed to drink in their seats when they return to stadiums.
A law has been in place for 25 years that prohibits fans from consuming alcohol within sight of the pitch. The law also only allows for drink to be served 15 minutes either side of the game and at half-time.
As reported by The Times, a number of top-flight clubs have now been holding discussions over the prospect of abolishing the law, as they feel fans are more likely to binge drink under the current system.
