Premier League clubs could reject the chance to allow fans back into stadiums despite the government giving them the green light to do so on December 2, according to reports.UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed on Monday that a maximum of 4,000 spectators will be able to attend outdoor and indoor events again when the national lockdown ends next week, having been forced to place a ban on large crowds in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.As part of the government’s latest three-tier system, sporting venues in Tier 1 areas will be allowed to bring a maximum of 4,000 fans back in, while Tier 2 areas can have up to 2,000 spectators in attendance.No fans will be able to return to arenas in Tier 3, however, with harsh restrictions.
