Katy, 35, and Orlando, 43, put on brave faces while they were on the look out for their little flurry dog in leafy California.
Their devastating news has come just as Katy approaches her due date to welcome their first baby together in the summer. They have been holding out hope to find their dog and Orlando made a plea on social media.
Orlando has had Mighty for three years since he adopted him into the family in 2017. Not long after, Katy got a pooch Nugget who was the spitting image of Mighty.
